FindSpark Employer Dialogue: Early Career Recruitment

On Thursday, February 21, 2019, FindSpark hosted "FindSpark Employer Dialogue: Early Career Recruitment" at TEKsystems' office in New York City. 

 

This free event is part of FindSpark's Employer Dialogue series. Open to in-house human resources professionals, recruiters, diversity and inclusion professionals, and hiring managers, this event series focuses on diversity & inclusion, employer branding, and recruitment as it relates to early career talent in an intimate setting.

 

Event Speakers:

  • Francisco Estrada - Senior Talent Sourcer, Corporate Functions at Nike

  • Catherine McGivney-Stein - Recruiter at Blue State Digital

 

To build and execute a positive event experience for FindSpark Employer members, the FindSpark team and I:

  • Created an event web page featuring information about the event, featured speakers, and the event registration process: findspark.com/employer-dialogue-february

  • Oversaw the event registration process of both in-person and virtual attendees

  • Recruited and invited event speakers

  • Designed the event program on Adobe Photoshop, outlining the speakers, employer resources, and upcoming FindSpark events

  • Promoted the event to FindSpark's Employer list of 6,500+ subscribers via email marketing campaigns

  • Advertised the event on FindSpark’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn handles before, during and after the event

 

The Result: This event brought 20 in-person attendees and 23 virtual attendees together, where they enjoyed an interactive panel discussion on early career recruitment and time for networking.
